The Miter Master Plus
Quint Measuring Systems
Troy Robison
About a month ago the inventor of the Miter Master Plus, Troy Robison reached out to me and asked me if I'd be interested in looking at his invention because he believed it was the best tool on the market for doing tasks like crown moulding. Well as many of you know I'm always looking for a better way of doing things, so I said sure. Troy went on to tell me why he invented the tool in the first place;
"I actually designed the tool to make things much easier for the end user eliminating the need for compound conversion charts. I've been cutting crown laying flat for years and always needed a chart for the conversions. When I went to use the chart at times I could never find it, so here I go to down load another one. I've used the Bosch digital also, at times the battery was dead and I was off the the store to get one. Plus I hated pushing all the control buttons. Every time one of my carpenters used it they would drop the darn thing and toss the calibration out of whack. Off to the factory it went to get reset."
I plan on doing a full review of this tool and a short video on how it can help you with your next crown moulding job, but in the mean time I just wanted to get the information out there. If any of you are looking for a simple to use new tool for the holidays, this is one to consider.
